WEYMOUTH manager David Oldfield wants to recapture the Terras’ form of February going into a massive clash at Wealdstone tomorrow (3pm).
Oldfield’s men went three games unbeaten in the previous month, recording draws against Chesterfield and Bromley either side of defeating Eastleigh.
But defeats to Stockport, Halifax and Altrincham – all without scoring a goal – mean Weymouth are nine points adrift of Vanarama National League safety with 12 games to go.
Wealdstone are currently in 16th, some five places and 13 points better off than the Terras.
Oldfield told Echosport: “We need to get back to the difficulties that we were presenting to teams in recent games.

“It’s not been long ago. We have picked up good results against very strong teams.
“We need to remember that and make sure we’re giving ourselves a chance throughout to stay in the games at the right periods and make ourselves much harder to play against.
“We need to stop giving away so many cheap goals. We give ourselves an uphill battle in matches that we have to do better on.
“It’s about showing resilience, being harder to beat and making sure we are working as hard as we can for the whole period to make sure we’re representing the supporters as well as we can.”
Oldfield added: “It’s another huge game, another huge challenge and another game away from home.
“We have to redouble our efforts, make sure we’re working as a collective group that we painfully failed to do so during the week.
“We are finding out about ourselves constantly through this process.
“We’re in positions where we’re not doing well enough and we need to show resilience in terms of being willing and able to go forwards.”
Cameron Murray and Dan Smith (both head), Harvey Bunker (ankle) and Haji Mnoga will all be assessed after picking up injuries in the 5-0 loss to Altrincham.
