DORCHESTER Town will “kick on” at Taunton Town following their 2-1 defeat to Beaconsfield Town, manager Robbie Herrera insists.
The Magpies visit the Peacocks tonight (7.45pm) looking to banish the memories of their Pitching In Southern Premier League South opener against the Rams.
Dorchester dominated for large spells and carved out numerous chances, Tiago Sa hitting the post late on before Oliver McCoy notched a smash-and-grab winner in the 92nd minute.
Taunton, meanwhile, made serene progress against Wimborne, winning their opening game 4-1.
Ahead of the clash at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium, Herrera told Echosport: “It’s another game, 11 v 11.
“(The players) have got to hold their heads up. Going forward, very good. Defensively at times a bit lapse.

“We’ll kick on and hopefully the lads will work hard again.
“If we get it right, we’ll be competitive and I’m sure that will be the case for when we go away from home.”
Christos Papakonstantinou is fit and ready to play, only for a paperwork issue between the respective English and Greek FAs to hold up his registration.
New defensive signing Callum Buckley is a doubt after missing Saturday’s game due to sickness and diarrhoea, while Tom Soares remains troubled by a persistent calf injury.
Herrera said: “I’m not sure about Christos, Tom we’ll have to assess and again with Callum we’ll have to wait and see.”
