MERLEY Cobham Sports were the stand-out club at the Dorset Girls Cup Final Day at Blandford School, winning two trophies.
Following their success in the under-15 cup final 12 months ago, Merley won the Dorset Under-16 Cup.
Having already beaten the better teams in the competition on the way to the final, Merley were given a walkover as their opponents had withdrawn from the competition.
Redlands Rebels defeated Wool & Winfrith 7-0 in the Under-14 Cup final with Olivia Conning and Sophie sharing five of the goals.
Wool & Winfrith were hampered having lost their goalkeeper on the day.
Corfe Mullen United Juniors won the Under-12 Cup final, cruising to a two-goal lead at half time.
Their gallant opponents Poole Town Youth came back strongly in the second half.
However, the Corfe Mullen goalkeeper, Eva Welstead, was on top form with Corfe eventually winning the match 3-1.
Poole Town FC Wessex triumphed over Chickerell United Youth in an evenly-contested Under-16 competition.
The Poole Town FC Wessex took a two-goal lead at half-time only to see Milly Stone score two great goals to get Chickerell United Youth back in with a chance.
With Town leading 3-2 going into the closing minutes, Chickerell put a lot of pressure on the young Dolphins who just held on to win the trophy, with Charlotte Turner a star performer.
Merley claimed the Under-14 Plate competition, beating Redlands Bandits 4-1 with Sadie West netting a fantastic hat-trick to see them to the trophy.
In the Under-12 Plate Cup final, Blandford United Youth defeated Longfleet Youth Lionesses 3-0 with Olivia Palmer netting a treble.
