DORCHESTER Town Raiders Under-16s were crowned champions of Dorset League Division One after completing their final season undefeated over 16 matches, winning 13 and drawing three.
The county town side secured the title with a 4-1 win over Sturminster Newton in their final match of the season to bring the title back to Dorchester. Westland Sports ran them close, drawing both their matches with the Raiders and also completed an unbeaten season but the Raiders won the division by four points.
The team received the trophy and their medals at the Avenue Stadium from Magpies’ club chairman Matt Lucas.
*Manager Jon White would like to thank Colin Philips for his help over the last couple of seasons and the players and parents for supporting him over the last eight years and wish all the boys the very best in their new ventures in the future.
