STAR TURN: Glenn Hoddle with the beaten finalists Weymouth
WEYMOUTH Youth Under-14s met former England boss Glenn Hoddle after taking part in the R&T tournament at Redlands over the bank holiday weekend.
The youngsters played different teams from all over the country and won all but one of their matches to reach the final. They played a tough final against Sutton Coldfield which resulted in 3-1 to Sutton.
On Sunday evening all the teams enjoyed a celebrity presentation at Seaview Holiday Park with the former Spurs ace the guest of honour.
Everyone who took part received a medal and they took home the runners-up plate from the tournament.
