Death in Paradise has proved to be a popular show on the BBC, and now a spin-off from the programme called Beyond Paradise will begin airing soon.

Kris Marshall returns as Humphrey Goodman, who was Detective Inspector on Death in Paradise between 2014 and 2017.

He left his post in Saint Marie to be with Martha Lloyd (played by Sally Bretton) after a will they/won't they romance developed.

Now engaged the couple has decided to move to Martha's hometown of Shipton Abbott on the Devonshire coast, where Humphrey will have a few more puzzling cases to deal with at the local police force soon enough.

When is Beyond Paradise on TV?

Beyond Paradise will air its first episode on Friday, February 24 at 8 pm on BBC One.

There will be six episodes in total, and the remaining five will air at the same time on Fridays in the proceeding weeks.
