Doctor Who is back on our screens but instead of a Christmas special, fans will be treated to a New Year's Day show.
With the end of its Flux series, the highly anticipated special will see the return of our favourite time travellers in a new action-packed adventure.
The one-off episode - titled "Eve of Daleks"- will also bring back one of the Time Lord's most notorious enemies and a star-studded cast.
Here is everything we know about the Doctor Who New Year's Day special before it airs.
1 day to go.

When is the Doctor Who New Year's Day special on?
The "Eve of the Daleks" New Year's Day special will air at 7 pm on BBC One on January 1 2022.
You will also be able to catch up on the episode on BBC iPlayer after the broadcast.
Doctor Who New Year Special Cast
The BBC has confirmed who will star in its New Year's Day special and we simply can't wait.
Comedian and actress Aisling Bea and the Dreaming Whilst Black star Adjani Salmon will be joining the show's beloved cast for the special.
Bea will be playing "Sarah" while Salmon will be taking on the role of lovesick Nick.
Talking about the New Year special, Salmon said: "[The episode] is about a shy and lovestruck character who is trying to build up the courage to profess his feelings for Sarah (Aisling Bea), and that gets interrupted by Daleks!
"They end up in a time loop where he has to do so before time runs out!"
They will join the hit BBC programme's regular cast including the Doctor herself Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill as Yaz and John Bishop as Dan.
Will Jodie Whittaker regenerate in the Doctor Who Special?
Since Jodi Whittaker announced that she was stepping down from playing the role of the troublemaking Time Lord, fans have been speculating when they will see her famous regeneration scene.
While her time as the Doctor is coming to a rapid end, her farewell is still some way away.
The Eve of The Daleks episode will mark the beginning of the end for Whittaker's Doctor though.
The 39-year-old will star in three more episodes (including the New Year's special).
She will also feature in a one-off programme rumoured to air around Easter.
While a third and final special is due to be broadcast in October 2022.
Who will be the next Doctor?
Speculation has already begun on who will replace Jodie Whittaker as the next Doctor.
Even though we won't see a new Time Lord until October 2022, Betfair has released its odds on who it thinks will be stepping into the Tardis next.
The bookie's front runner is It's A Sin Star Lydia West who leads on 6/4.
With the Channel 4 show creator Russell T Davies returning to the helm of Doctor Who along with her incredible performance in the hit show, it's not hard to see why she is favourite.
Other popular choices include West's co-star Olly Alexander on 11/4 and national treasure Lenny Henry on 8/1.
