Can you guess where this old photo, showing a peaceful scene of swans paddling along, was taken?
We've obscured the location on this old postcard, which comes from the Andy Hutchings Collection.
The swans are actually a clue to the location of the photo. Their namesake, the Swannery, is just a few yards down the road.
If you guessed that this old picture was taken at Alexandra Terrace, Commercial Road, Weymouth - well done!
These houses were built in 1864 and marked the western boundary of Melcombe Regis before the major land reclamations of the 1920s.
The Portland Railway Hotel, which you can see on the left of the photo, is now no longer in use as a public house.
The houses to the right of the picture were subsequently demolished to provide the Commercial Road frontage for Weymouth bus station.
Here's how this scene looks today.....considerably different!
