STUDENTS put their general knowledge to the test in a national contest.
The teenagers from Weymouth College competed in a national online A-level Challenge competition organised by WorldSkills UK.
Benn Harrison, Liam Connolly and Ross Harrison came 16th out of 35 teams nationwide.
Senior lead tutor Sue Dafter said: "We are really proud that our students did so well, particularly as this is the first time we have entered this competition.
"The students really enjoyed the challenge and we hope that this will be an annual competition in future.
"Next year we shall aim to submit several teams of three so that more A-level students have the opportunity to show off their knowledge and stretch themselves further."
This quiz was designed to test the students' general knowledge in art, sciences, humanities and social sciences at advanced level in an enjoyable and exciting way.
There were a total of 120 questions which the competitors had to answer within two hours.
