PUPILS in Blandford travelled back in time on a trip to a Hampshire castle.
Year Five and Six pupils at Knighton House visited Portchester Castle in Hampshire, as part of their history studies of Medieval Britain.
The castle, which was built in the 11th century, is located at the head of Portsmouth harbour and was an important port in the medieval period.
The girls travelled back in time in the footsteps of some of the many kings who had lived at or visited the castle.
They were also able to dress up as members of the court and experience the power of an English longbow.
