Admitted not taking reasonable steps to ensure that the needs of an animal for which he was responsible, a Jack Russell Terrier type dog, were met to the extent required by good practice in that he failed to protect it from pain, suffering, injury and disease as shown by a failure to provide veterinary care and attention for a mass on its body. Also admitted causing unnecessary suffering to the same animal by failing to act, namely failing to provide veterinary care and attention for an infected mass on its body. Fined £250 and ordered to pay costs of £1,000. Disqualified from keeping or owning dogs for three years.
REGINALD ALBERT FOY, aged 72, of Lower Hillside Road, Wool. Admitted, as the driver of a Ford Mondeo motor car, failing to comply with an indication given by a road traffic sign, namely a red light traffic signal, lawfully placed on Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth. Fined £45, ordered to pay costs of £15. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months and licence endorsed with three points.
CARLY MARIE SHEARER, aged 24, of The Briars, Wool, Wareham. Admitted using a Volkswagen Polo motor car on Dorchester Road, Wool, without valid insurance. Fined £100.
