I noticed that the comedy night at the ICCI 360 Dome on Monday night had been reduced to a fiver so I decided to give it a go.

I did a quick search on YouTube, as you do, to see if the comedians were any good, and they were. So off I went and paid my money on the door, not that there is one.

A local live band kicked off proceedings and I had a brilliant time laughing at three great stand-ups, all regular performers on the comedy circuit.

However, it was such a shame that there were only 16 of us watching. I know times are hard, and it was a Monday night, but to have such talent on your doorstep and miss it seems such a waste, especially for a fiver.

I spoke to one of the comedians who was disappointed at the turnout but he did say it had not been advertised very well on the net.

So please, people of Weymouth and elsewhere, if you’re on a limited budget and you fancy a good laugh to kick start the week, get down to the Dome this coming Monday and the next. It’s not often such comedy talent comes this way.
