POLICE are appealing for help returning these items of jewellery to their rightful owners.
Detectives recently issued an appeal after several items were recovered in Swanage town centre when a local man was arrested.
Detective Constable Angela Mills, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “A gold coloured necklace and two coins, which could be medals, have been recovered as a result of this arrest.
“They are very distinctive and possibly of great sentimental value. We hope that someone recognises them and can help us to find the rightful owners.
“It is possible that the owners have not yet realised that this jewellery is missing.
“Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any information that may assist with my investigation.”
A 38-year-old Swanage man was arrested on suspicion of theft at around 10pm on Saturday, July 21.
Anyone with information can contact Dorset Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
