DORSET drivers can become safer by taking part in a popular course.
Places on county council-organised sessions, which are designed to help motorists of all ages improve their road knowledge and hazard awareness, can be booked online.
The two-hour theory class costs £5 per person and covers the most common causes of accidents in the county, such as poor hazard perception, failing to judge another vehicle’s speed correctly and loss of control.
Topics that will be covered include a Highway Code refresher, modern driving techniques, motorways and dual carriageways and how to drive safely in adverse weather conditions.
