It’s not a fund we need to set up in order to buy a new set of fairy lights for Weymouth seafront but to send those appalling non-event lasers back and ask for a full refund plus compensation, because they are so obviously not fit for purpose.
Then we’d have the money to reinstate proper energy efficient, low maintenance fairy lights right across the seafront, which even our little children could enjoy before their bedtime.
What puzzles me is, did any of W&PBC members ever see similar lasers in operation before they decided to spend all that public money buying this white elephant?
My husband says that Weymouth’s new traffic lights give a better show.
