Will anyone take the blame for the wasted money in changing the traffic system in Weymouth then putting park and ride at the two locations around Dorchester ?

This was put together to help traffic flows for the Games, which would have made perfect sense if they didn’t then tell locals and visitors to stay away to ease congestion. Surely if you spend all this money to accommodate the expected influx of cars and people you should not worry about the amount of traffic that comes.

It seems to me that a fortune was spent on advisers to put this all in place but then have no confidence in the procedure ‘so let’s warn people off and be safe’.

I live near Dorchester yet did not know about all the good things Weymouth were putting on with the bands and a retail park.

It seems the powers that be thought loads of people would come because it was the Olympics .

I feel sorry for all the bus drivers and stewards at the park and ride getting bored.

You so-called organisers should be ashamed of getting paid well yet letting the local population and people from all over so badly down.

It could have been great but with your lack of promoting this area you have spent thousands of pounds for nothing.
