A FLOWER show has been added to the events for the 64th annual Shave Cross Marathon Weekend for the first time in over 30 years.
The Shave Cross Marathon is a race of approximately five miles over road and fields.
There will also be classes for fruit and vegetables, crafts, cookery and children’s classes at Kittys Farm, Shave Cross.
Organisers are trying to track down some trophies from last year. They also want to hear from whoever won the best in show at the dog show last year. Schedules for the dog show are available from vets just turn up at 2pm on the day.
Run entries are taken on the field from 5.30pm.
Profits are in aid of the Hughes Unit at Bridport Hospital, Wootton Fitzpaine mother and toddler group and other local charities.
