CREAM teas will once again be served in Frampton Village Hall throughout August. The next of these will be on Sunday, August 12 and will be in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. St Mary’s Church in Frampton will benefit from proceeds from the cream tea on Sunday, August 19 and Julia’s House on Sunday, August 26.
There will also be cream teas on Sunday, September 2, but the cause has yet to be decided.

PRIZE Bingo takes place at Frampton Village Hall on Saturday, August 11. Eyes Down is at 7.30pm and the event is in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
STRATTON Home and Garden Club will be holding their Annual Summer Show on Saturday, August 11 from 2-4pm in Stratton Village Hall. Admission is free and show schedules are available from any committee member.
CATTISTOCK First Responders will be serving cream teas in the Savill Hall in the village at 3.30pm on Sunday, August 12.
MELBURY Osmond Garden and Show Society will hold their annual Flower Show on Saturday, August 18.

SARAH, our local Police Community Support Officer will be in the Fox and Hounds, Cattistock, between midday and 1pm on Tuesday, August 21.

BROOMHILL Gardens will be open on Sunday, August 21 between 2 and 5pm. There will be home made teas and plants for sale.
THIS year’s Cattistock village fete was to be held in early July, but had to be cancelled because of bad weather. It has now been re-scheduled for Sunday, August 26.
The event starts at 2pm and there will be attractions for young and old.
These will include a Curiosity Corner, Silent Auction & Bouncy Castle. The W.I. will again be providing the cream teas and there will be a BBQ & ice-creams. All of the money raised is used to support the village sports clubs, organisations & facilities.
CATTISTOCK Flower Show takes place on Sunday, August 26 (the same day as the village fete).
Entry forms can be collected from the Fox and Hounds, Cattistock Post Office or Maiden Newton Stores.
