A WOMAN who was in a two vehicle collision in Weymouth is in hospital with serious head injuries.
The 46-year-old woman from Worcester was taken to hospital following the crash on the Weymouth Relief Road yesterday afternoon. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A child was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Dorset Police, Dorset Fire and Rescue and the South Western Ambulance Service received an emergency call just before 4.40pm to attend the incident near West Farm, Lower Bincombe.
The road was temporarily closed in both directions.
Northbound traffic was diverted from the A354 along Dorchester Road while the scene was cleared.
