A local 16-year-old boy is still being questioned by detectives following the alleged murder of a woman in Weymouth.
Police say a forensic search is still ongoing, with 30 officers involved in the investigation.
A Home Office pathologist is performing a post-mortem on the victim.
Family liaison officers are interacting with the deceased woman’s family.
Police are not releasing her identity at this time as no formal positive identification has taken place yet.
Detective Inspector Marcus Hester, of Dorset Police’s Major Crime Team, said: “I’m renewing my appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious or unusual in the Benville Road area between 11am on Friday July 20 and 1pm on Saturday July 21 to contact Dorset Police urgently.
“I want to reassure the public that following our ongoing investigation, it has been established that all parties involved in this incident where known to each other.”
