TEN boat sculptures made out of driftwood are being put in place this week along Weymouth Esplanade.
As crowds of people enjoyed the sunshine the first of the creative displays were put in place yesterday.
The public artwork in honour of the Olympics marks the culmination of several free family activity sessions that have taken place across the borough.
The ‘Let’s make it!’ driftwood boat-making session attracted dozens of participants.
Artist Jenny Frances said the creations are ‘looking fab’.
