Lions Youth Brass Band is heading back to Dorset for a pre-Olympic tour.
The brass band based in Sandbach, Cheshire, played a short tour of South Dorset last year but now they are returning for more than 10 performances during the week up to the Olympics sailing events.
The musicians, who came second in the national Youth Brass championships, are performing as far afield as Bridport, Swanage and Wareham.
They will be staying at Westfield College, camping on the gymnasium floor and cooking their own food.
Richard Burgess, president of Weymouth and Portland Lions Club, said: “The band are all really excited, they loved coming to Weymouth last year and especially at the moment with the Olympics.”
There will be free taster concerts held throughout South Dorset and two big concerts at Nothe Fort on July 23 and the Weymouth Pavilion on July 26. Tickets are £5 each and available from the Tourist Information centre.
