SUNNY Days Nursery in Weymouth opened its doors for a free family fun day.
An array of activities including arts and crafts, a bouncy castle and face-painting were on offer for children to enjoy.
The sun came out to shine as families tucked in to a barbecue.
Jo Parker, manager of the Weymouth nursery, said: “It was a fantastic day for everyone that attended. The weather was very sunny and lots of families showed up.”
She added: “The aim of the day was for families to use us to have a fun day and have a free barbecue.”
Lucy Benham who co-ordinated the event said: “There has been lots of bad press recently about the cost of childcare and so we wanted to do something free for all the local families so they could join in the fun without having to pay out any money.”
