A HOST of musical talent will be strutting its stuff for a worthy cause at Dorchester's Borough Gardens this weekend.
The Concert for Cancer event will see acts such as Sound Contenders, Jack Ratts and Memories of the Future performing on Saturday.
The event, which has been inspired by the personal battle with cancer of a woman close to the organisers, will run from 11am to 7.30pm. A number of local businesses have pledged their support and a host of people, particularly youngsters, have volunteered to help out.
As well as music there will be a bouncy castle to enjoy, stalls and much more. Organiser Ben Ashcroft said: "Please come on down and show your support for these people.
"Some of them have never sung in front of a crowd before. Don't only show your support for them but show support for the cause we've all been or may be affected by at some point or another in our lives."
