A WEYMOUTH couple celebrated their big day surrounded by family and friends in Dorset.
The Orangery Suite in Wimborne was the perfect venue for Mike Fuller and Leanne Blackett from Weymouth when they tied the knot on June 22.
Mr Fuller, 35, a vehicle mechanic at Bovington and Miss Blackett, 33, who works for Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, said they had a wonderful day at the venue. They had a marquee and hog roast during the day and then celebrated with a party at the Weymouth Centenary Club in the evening.
The couple’s two-year-old son Alfie was the page boy and he will soon be joined by a baby brother or sister as the bride is six months’ pregnant.
Mr Fuller said they all had a great day and the children even had a bouncy castle to play on.
He said: “The day was perfect. The weather was perfect, it was sunny.”
The couple have been together 14 years and Mr Fuller proposed last New Year’s Eve by giving little Alfie an engagement ring to hold and dressing him up in a T-shirt at bath time which said: “Mummy, will you marry daddy?” and on the back it said: “She said yes.”
Mr Fuller said the best bit about being married was knowing that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.
The couple would like to thank their parents and everyone who made the day so special.
