The Weymouth evening celebration was well organised and great entertainment.

I attended the beach event with my daughter and was prepared to get wet! However I was dismayed at a number of adults who despite being close to the front of the stage had umbrellas up which blocked the view of many teenagers and adults behind them. Polite requests from those behind made no difference and these selfish people would not put their umbrellas down.

I actually gave up my own space to let some youngsters in front of me so that they could see. I would like to point out to these selfish adults that most people had brought an umbrella that evening but most of us were not inconsiderate enough to put them up. Please think twice next time.
