TWO motorcyclists were injured in a crash on the A352 near Owermoigne.
Police said a motor scooter and a three-wheeled vehicle were involved in the incident about 2pm near the Texaco garage yesterday afternoon.
Two people received injuries which were not life-threatening.
One witness said: “I saw a man lying in the road, not moving. There was something on the side of the road that looked like a bike and people crowded around.
“There was lots of traffic backed up and the police were directing cars.”
The road was closed for an hour while emergency services worked at the scene. The A352 was reopened by 3pm.
A police spokesman said “We received a call from the ambulance service at 2.07pm.
“There were two motorbikes involved, both registered to addresses in Poole. Two people received some injuries which were not life-threatening. The road was closed for a short time while officers were dealing with the incident, it reopened at 3pm.”
A spokesman from South Western Ambulance service said two patients were treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester for treatment.
