THE RSPB has launched an appeal to support bird reserves in Weymouth after it was revealed the cost of flood damage and repairs could rise above £100,000.
Hundreds of nests were destroyed and the newly-refurbished Discovery Centre was swamped by floodwater.
Despite the damage, the RSPB aims to be open and ready for visitors in time for the Olympics.
