FETE Week in Cattistock got off to an excellent start with another very successful quiz evening. The Savill Hall was packed with people, all desperately trying to recall snippets of information hidden away in the dark recesses of their brains!
The team with the best result at the end of the evening was Diamond Geezers and our congratulations go to them.
We must also thank the quiz master, Neil Rowland for another very entertaining and informative evening.
STRATTON Lunch Club will be holding its next lunch on Wednesday, July 11 at Stratton Village Hall.

THE LADIES’ Thursday Group is going on a Mystery Coach Tour on Thursday, July 26, ending up at West Bay, where there will be an opportunity for ice cream, fish and chips, a drink or whatever you fancy! The coach leaves Bradford Peverell at 6.30pm and picking up at Ash Hill and Stratton.

THE STRATTON Boules Competition will be held on Saturday, July 28.
This very popular event is in support of 5-a-side football goalposts for Stratton playing field. The event is limited to 32 teams (cost £6 per team).

MEMBERS of the Melbury Osmond Garden and Show Society are reminded about the evening outing to Harvard Farm, Halstock on Wednesday, July 25 Frampton Footlights are looking for new members.
The group has been successfully performing pantomimes and plays since 1984 and continues to enjoy huge support from local audiences. In particular, there is a need for some younger members, particularly in the 16 to 30 age range.
Anyone in the Frampton area who likes the idea of performing on stage (not necessarily a big part to start with), do make contact with Sue Wilson (01305 264208) or Pam Wren (01300 321448).
