CATTISTOCK WI will be holding an open meeting for local WI’s and any interested women at 7.30pm on Thursday, July 5.
The speaker will be Lynn Kerr and she will be speaking on ‘The Queen at Sandringham’.
Admission is free, refreshments will be provided and there will be a raffle.

These will include a Curiosity Corner, Silent Auction & Bouncy Castle.
The W.I. will again be providing the cream teas and there will be a BBQ & ice-creams.
All of the money raised is used to support the village sports clubs, organisations & facilities.
FRIENDS of St Mary’s Church in Maiden Newton are holding their Open Gardens Day on Sunday, July 8 from 11.30am until 5pm.
There will be ploughman’s lunches for sale, as well as cream teas, a quality raffle and various stalls.
SARAH, our local Police Community Support Officer will be in the Saxon Arms, Stratton, between 11am and midday on Friday, July 6.

THE OCCASIONAL Singers present A Summer Evening of music and readings at Stratton Village Hall on Saturday, July 7 at 7.30pm.
BROOMHILL Gardens will be open on Sunday July 3 between 2 and 5pm.
There will be home made teas and plants available to buy.
CHILDREN of Fiji will be holding their annual balloon release from Cattistock Playing Field on the afternoon of Sunday, July 15.
