DORSET’S air ambulance helicopter has resumed normal service after being grounded yesterday over safety concerns.
The suspension was due to be lifted at 7am this morning.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Service helicopter was one of 22 across the country to be suspended from flying yesterday.
Bond Air Services, the UK’s main operator, suspended all its Eurocopter EC 135 helicopters over concerns about cracks in the rotor blades.
