FISH pedicurist Kirsten Salf, who owns Fish 4 Feet and Tranquil Beauty on Trinity Road, Weymouth, said the roadwork drillings have been killing her fish.
She said: “It is horrendous. The vibrations of drilling have been causing some of the fish to die. You can tell they are scared when the drilling is going on, they are frantic.
“I have had to order replacement fish.
“This is a new business, it is my livelihood. It is in real crisis. The work vans have been blocking the road, taking up car parking spaces and people aren’t coming here.”
Mrs Salf said she felt that she had no support and felt the compensation offer would not benefit her.
She added: “The Bank Holiday weekend has been really quiet. We needed better communication, consideration and some reasonable compensation.”
