< li> I HOPE you have all had a peaceful and blessed Easter and are refreshed for the new round of village happenings! THE FETE on 21st July is having homemade cotton bunting and, on Saturday, 14th April there will be a working party in the Village Hall from 10am till 4pm to cut, sew and attach flags to the tape - all volunteers, male or female (with or without sewing machines) will be very welcome! Come for as long or short a time as you can & join in the fun.

This is such an important charity, so many families are affected by cancer, let’s raise as much as we can!
ON SATURDAY, 21st April, after a sad lapse, we are going to celebrate ST GEORGE’S DAY in the village – the Hall committee have organised a short programme of English Songs by Barry Townsend & Oliver Broome at 7.00pm sharp in the Church – followed by fresh cooked Fish and Chip Supper and English dessert in the Hall at 8.00pm. There will be a Bar serving cider and beer, a Raffle and tickets are available at £8.00 (pre-booking is essential).
