REMEMBER it is Village Lunch on Tuesday,28th February – how can it be the end of February already? - never mind, it will be good to meet & catch up with all the news, as well as enjoying a jolly good meal!
CHESIL BANK Garden Club meets on Tuesday 28th at 7.30pm in Portesham Village Hall – the speaker is Kate Broomfield & her subject is “Herbs”.
THE SEASON of Lent has started & we are having our Lent Safari with our Methodist friends again this year – it is bread and soup, followed by discussions around a set course, there are 5 meetings starting at 12 noon, join us when you can – the next one is on Monday, 5th March at St Peter’s, Langton Herring.
EASTER LILIES will be the focal point of the decorations on Easter Sunday & as usual we will be accepting donations (£1.00 +) towards their cost, in memory of relations & friends who have died – there will be a memorial list in the entrance porch. (Should there be any money left over, it goes into the flower fund for the rest of the year.)
