THE NOSTALGIA Evening on Saturday night at the Elm Tree was thoroughly enjoyable – one room full of memorabilia, maps, photos, files , documents – you name it, there were even the horns from an old time, prize winning bull!
Lots of people came & shared their memories of the village & it’s people – from as far afield as Bournemouth! – the noise level was high and the evening finished off with a table full of delicious food provided by the management.
A big ‘thank you’ to all who participated and to Debbie and her staff for a wonderful evening – I personally look forward to the next one!
VILLAGE LUNCH is on Tuesday, 31st January and won’t it be good to meet again, it seem ages since the Christmas lunch! – there is another delicious menu and good company to look forward to.
