DON’T FORGET to give Martin Fielding (871403) your ‘Christmas Card to the Village’ (1/2 A4 maximum) with your greetings to everyone, to display on the boards outside the Church, all for a donation to funds. You can be artistic and make your own, or cut up an old card – the notice board not only saves shoe leather - but the lovely trees as well!
THE CHRISTMAS Lunch was stupendous, what a feast – well done to the cooks and helpers – and all the lovely people that made it so enjoyable!
TUESDAY, 6th December at 7.30 pm, will be the last Village Club of the year – we have John Hallett telling us about the Dorset National Trust Coast & Countryside which should be not only a treat but a joy! For lots of ideas for outings & walks do come and join us – visitors £1.50.
WE HAVE been bemoaning the dilapidated state of the sign post in the entrance to the village for some time, and were told that when the Council had money for that sort of thing, it would be a modern plastic sign.
Now there is a completely refurbished, renewed, ‘proper’ finger post – thanks to a joint effort by Martin, John and Robert – it looks absolutely splendid. Thank you very much boys!
THE ‘STRICTLY' Christmas Party is on Saturday, 10th December – get in touch with one of the Hall committee for your tickets now – it will be full of surprises and too good to miss!
