MORE than 170 drivers were stopped for speeding in Dorchester in two-and-a-half hours.
The results were revealed after Dorset Police carried out an enforcement operation in the county town.
It happened on Monday of this week but the figures have just been announced.
A dozen other drivers were stopped for not wearing a seat belt and six for using a mobile phone while driving.
