THIS year’s Bridport Christmas Festival is on Wednesday, December 7 starting at 6pm.
As usual the event will take place in Bucky Doo and surrounding streets and the Bridport Arts Centre.
As well as the many craft and charity stalls there is also the farmers’ market, Santa and his sleigh, the children’s grotto, fair ground rides and Punch and Judy.
There will also be bands, singing groups and choirs to foster the festive spirit.
The museum will be open all day and the shops for late night shopping, pubs and restaurants for festive food and drink and the town’s annual Christmas Tree Festival, now in its 14th year, is on in the United Church, East Street.
