Police are still appealing for information about missing Weymouth man Nicholas Crocker.
A Dorset Police spokesman said Mr Crocker’s family were disappointed that their public plea for information last week had not resulted in information but that they were not ‘giving up hope’.
The 55-year-old from Dorchester Road disappeared on Wednesday, September 21 after police attended his house the night before to enquire about a ‘minor theft’.
Mr Crocker is believed to have a pistol in his possession but officers have said he is not a danger to the general public and they are only concerned about his own safety.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
