If you’ve ever wondered how we are going to face the challenges of fuel shortages and climate change then you need to go along to the library on Wednesday 19th October.
John Tomblin will be giving an illustrated talk from 10.30am on the Transition to Green Living. Find out how the Transition Town approach to green living works and how this approach is spreading around Britain and to other countries.
Places are limited so book your FREE ticket today! For more information phone 01305 812350 or go to www.dorsetforyou.com/libraries.
Those of you who have visited the library lately may have noticed the blue bookstart bear sitting on the desk.
This bear needs a name and the person who comes up with a suitable one will receive a small prize for their efforts.
The last day to pick a name for him (or her) is 25th October.
Half term is nearly here and the library will be having stories and board games for the kids on Wednesday 26th October between 10.30 and noon.
A reminder to parents and carers of young toddlers that they can take them along to the library every Tuesday morning from 10.30 for stories, songs and lots of fun.
