I was recently looking (admittedly from afar) at the Osmington White Horse.
I thought to myself: ‘I do wish they would make a start on correcting what look like abnormalities’, ie legs too thin, tale too thick – and as for the head and neck etc.
Then, the Dorset Echo produced a feature last week in which I discover to my amazement that ‘that’s it!’ – that is the white horse as nature intended.
No doubt it will cause an uproar, but in my opinion it looks a tad hideous.
