MORE information on archaeological finds at Dorchester’s Charles Street development is now on show to the public.
Viewing panels and information posters around the development site for West Dorset’s new council offices have already been put on show and now finds uncovered during the works will also go in a window display at the end of the Hardye Arcarde.
The display has been provided by contractor Cowlin and boasts discoveries offering an insight into the lives of the town’s Roman ancestors.
The finds have been cleaned up and catalogued by Wessex Archaeology, which is carrying out archaeological investigations on site.
Once they have been examined a report will be compiled on the artefacts and they will be offered up for display at the Dorset County Museum.
