A COUPLE who were engaged for six years had their happily ever after.
Shona Marie Lees, 32, who works for the adult services section of Dorset County Council, married Jamie Wallis, 35, the workshop manager at Easton Motor Services on Portland.
The couple got married in Blandford and had the wedding reception at The Castleman Hotel and Restaurant in Chettle near Blandford.
The bride had a bouquet of Cala Lillies and Shona’s sister Felicity was the maid of honour.
Shona’s father, Roger Lees, gave her away and the wedding was attended by the couple’s close family and friends including Shona’s grandmother who is 91-years-old.
Shona is half-Scottish – her mum is a full Scot – and so the couple had a Scottish piper playing as they arrived.
The couple, who were engaged for six years before the big day, went to Corfu on honeymoon.
