CONCERNS are mounting for a 66-year-old Weymouth man.

Barry Millgate, of Penny Street, was last seen at his home address on Monday September 5.

He left in a grey Nissan Note – although it is believed that he may have returned this vehicle to a garage.

PC Kath MacHardy said: “Barry has not made contact with his partner for two weeks now and such behaviour is completely out of character.

“Naturally, she is extremely worried that he has come to some harm.

“If anyone has seen Barry – or knows of his whereabouts – then please contact us urgently.

“It’s possible that he is staying with friends in Exeter or another area within Devon or Cornwall.

“My message to Barry is to please contact either your family or Dorset Police as soon as possible.

"We just want to check that you are safe and well – any calls from you will be treated in absolute confidence.”

The missing man is white and six ft four in tall, with brown eyes and receding hair that is white on the sides.

He was wearing beige trousers and a navy waterproof jacket when he was last seen.

If you know anything call Dorset Police on 101.
