What a surprise, chaos on the school buses.

No, just another case of mismanagement by DCC.

Any fool could see that by giving the contract for school transport to just one company would result problems.

Not only is Damory void of any competition but how can sending a bus from say Blanford to Weymouth, for that bus to pick up and drop off in Weymouth and then return empty back to Blanford be cost effective?

Not to mention the damage done to the enviroment by the avoidable bus mileage, or as we have seen Damory has to sub contract out to Barrys, both companies have to make a profit.

No wonder that DCC are having to charge so much for bus passes.

But what does anyone expect from the council that takes out roundabouts and replaces them with expensive to buy and run traffic lights that cause chaos to, can anyone put up a reward for DCC’s missing intelligence.

And on a good note, more cuts to be made at DCC, now there’s good justification for a clear out.
