SYDLING ST. NICHOLAS COME as you are! will be the motto on Sunday, September 25.
Sydling Church will join others in celebrating Back to Church Sunday – a service full of friendship, fellowship and faith!
This special service will start at 10:30am, everyone is very welcome, especially individuals who haven’t been to church for a while and are considering going.
Even if you are just curious – come along and perhaps make some new friends!
Many other churches are celebrating as well whilst exploring issues of Christian Faith and how it can change people’s lives.
BUCKLAND NEWTON SINGING makes you feel good – why not join a new group for some sing-a-longs?
Simply turn up any Monday evening at the Halsey Arms – an informal singing group meets there between 7:30pm – 8:30pm.
Everyone is welcome, the main aim is to have fun and perhaps build new friendships!
For further information call Alison Chant on 01300 345592.
YOUR sewing skills are needed on behalf of the Holy Rood Church!
But don’t worry, the task is not a difficult one: the kneelers of the two beautiful hassocks in the church are past their best and need to be replaced.
Can anyone help?
All the materials will be provided, only hand sewing is required.
You would be sure to brighten up the next wedding day even more!
If you think you can help call Wendy on 01300 345427 or Richard on 01300 345586 for more information.
