A FORMER Beaminster schoolboy serenaded his bride on their big day.
Jaron Chubb, a freelance photographer, married Sarah Tomczak and then played a love song to her on the euphonium.
Jaron, who learned to play euphonium with the Wessex Band and later joined The Silver Band, took his seat with a brass band before the main reception to play Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.
It was the first time he had played for 18 years save for a couple of practice sessions.
The band had earlier played in church when the couple tied the knot at Goodnestone in Kent.
Jaron worked at Bridport Leisure Centre before going to university where he gained a BA in photography.
Since then he has worked in London and last year went freelance. Sarah worked for Glamour magazine as the entertainments editor and is now working on the Daily Mail supplement.
