A man has admitted using a counterfeit bank card to commit fraud, a court heard.
Tudor Alexandru, aged 43, has pleaded guilty to possessing £3,646.94 of goods from Dorchester and Weymouth branches of Argos and Mothercare on May 4.
He also admits to possessing the card for fraudulent use in Weymouth and to fraud by false representation on the same day in Weymouth to obtain goods worth £350.
Alexandru, of Broadway, Mill Hill, London, was remanded in custody and will appear at Dorchester Crown Court for sentencing on July 1.
