YOUNG people from across Dorset are being invited to take part in an exciting challenge.
Fourteen places are available on the Dorset Expeditionary Society’s Three Peaks Challenge over the weekend |July 29 to 31.
Participants will tackle the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – in a weekend.
Transport will be provided from Weymouth and the surrounding area and a fully qualified mountain leader will lead the expedition.
Organisers stress there will be no climbing involved – the challenge is essentially a trekking endurance event.
The cost is £140 to cover transportation, camping and leader fees.
Young people interested in the challenge can contact Lucy Wyman on 01305 777277 – or find out more by visiting dorsetexp.org.uk
