THE occupants of a car had a lucky escape after it was involved in a collision with two other vehicles on the A35 Dorchester bypass.
Police said it happened at the A352 junction between the football ground and Stinsford roundabouts just after 1.30pm yesterday.
Despite one vehicle ending up on its side, the people involved suffered only slight injuries.
Roads in the area were closed while emergency services worked at the scene. Roads were open by 2.50pm. A Dorset Police spokesman said the vehicles involved were a white Renault Megane registered to a Dorchester man, a red Volkswagen Polo registered to a Petersfield, Hampshire man and a white Ford Transit van registered to a Glasgow company.
